Perpetuating your EGO

How Can You Perpetuate Your Idea Beyond Your Lifetime ?

Create a foundation!

This is a juridic personality that only dies when the subsidizing funds evaporate.

Classical Roman law only knew a dependent (fiducarian) foundation. F. e., a commune or a society received a dedicated alimentation, such as pennyless youngsters.

Only in later imperial Roman times „piae causa“ or „pia corpora“ got an independent legal entity protection. Their juridic position has however never beeen dogmatized.

In „Substrate theory“ the clue for a corporation is the „universitas personarum“, for the foundation the „universitas bonorum“.

Gierke states that the corporation is self-governing, the foundation is governed by the „will of ist founder“

When does a juridic person cease to exist ?

1, Reaching of its specified objective

2. Physical impossibility of ever reaching the set out objectivea.

3. Forced annihilation by government or regime

4 Corporations cease to exists when members die away

5. Foundations die out , when the subsidizing funds vanish

Remark : The longest existing Constantine foundation with a lifespan of almost 2000 years is the „Roman Catholic Church“.
